A shiver ran down their spines, it felt endearing after so many years, just the feel of each others lips. With one last pull, his lips touched her wet ones.
He watched her quiver when his other hand moved from her face to her waist brushing his fingers over her skin sensually. He looked squarely into her eyes, they were calm staring back into his. Yet her skin was warm as his fingers wrapped around the bare skin of her waist holding her closer. The rain was cold, so was her now wet saree as it clung to her form. She gasped but held onto his broad shoulders wrapping her arms around him. His one hand left her face to wrap firmly around her waist pulling her closer. He looked back at her to find her looking at him intently, her eyes giving away her emotions. His eyes didn’t leave her quivering lips, now wet with water droplets drenching them. Neither of them averted their gaze when the chilly drops of the rain touched their skin. He could read the yearning in her eyes, which had equal pain in them. He smiled with all his heart and leaned into her touch when she cupped his face in her hands and gazed at him lovingly. Her smile had the same warmth, the warmth of their love. He unwillingly broke the hug and looked at her face, shining with nothing but love. It was a moment he wished to remain forever. He smiled feeling her hands all over his back making sure the moment was real, his heart was too content to think otherwise Moments passed and neither of them refused to let go off the other. Tears of happiness rolled down his eyes and he smiled between them wrapping his arms around her soundly. The world seemed to have stopped for him, her words echoed in his head. She whispered in his ears, her lips lightly touching his ears. His heart yearned to wound his arms around her, crush her to himself in a way that she could never go yet a part of him remained adverse scared it maybe a dream and she would vanish any moment. He waited for few moments waiting for the feeling to sink in. He stood numb for a moment, she was here, the place he wanted her to be in.his arms with nothing or no one between them. He didn’t know when she had moved, covered the distance between them and wrapped her arms around him, clinging to him. He looked deep into her eyes not for s minute averting his gaze from her face. He could read her eyes al the way to her heart even though she was a little away from him, all they echoed was of her love and longing. The tears were shimmering in her eyes, just about to fall. Maybe she sensed his gaze and turned back to look at him. Though he had fought with her on learning of her stay in their apartments, nothing about the moment felt wrong. It looked familiar though he could only see the back, it had to be her. He stood there lost in his thoughts when from the corner of his eye a black silhouette caught his eye. Why could he still feel his heart skipping a beat at the thought of all that happened? His heart still beat for her, something he would never admit to anyone, but even he knew it in every inch of his soul.Ī cold wind blew and the slight thunder crackled in the pitch of the night. It hurt more to see her away, when a part of him wanted her back. It had burnt his heart to refer her as someone’s girlfriend. Every time he dared to bare his emotions to the real him, it would hurt back. He couldn’t help but look at her face, closely after years as she had held him while pressing the ice onto his itchy skin.It reflected the same emotions he would have read any other day. But why did it still feel good to see the same warmth and care in her eyes that he always saw all those years back, for him. Was it her warmth he was searching for? He immediately rejected the thought. He moved his hand along his skin, now that he couldn’t feel any of the allergy that had tormented him during the shoot. The coldness of the ice and the warmth of her touches still lingered, mostly her touch for all he could admit. He could still feel her tranquilizing touch all over his skin.
